Dennis Yoga (デニス ・ 用賀?, Denisu Youga) is a minor character in FLCL Alternative.

Profile[]

He is the cook / owner of a soba noodle shop that Kana Koumoto worked at as a server. The only customers that frequented his shop were Tsukata Kanda and Haruko Haruhara. At the very beginning of Pit-a-Pat, which takes place 10 years before the main story, he is briefly shown in the middle of constructing his business. He is usually shown working in the kitchen, only popping his head out of the divider to let Kana know that Kanda's order is ready. Additionally, he also serves as the shop's delivery driver, using a yellow Vespa with a cage installed on back to hold the food.

In "Freestyle Collection", it was mentioned by Kana and her friends that Dennis was originally a club DJ, but one night, while in bed, he was visited by the "Soba God", who convinced him to give up that career and start selling soba. Later in the episode, as the girls attended the fashion show for Man "Mossan" Motoyama, Dennis assisted Haruko with sneaking into the show. He ended up working the DJ booth after tying up the original DJ as Haruko walked the runway in Mossan's dress. They escape together after she proceeded to attack the police officers there to arrest her and destroy the stage.

Personality[]

He is passionate about soba, telling Kana that if she wanted to skip work it would be fine with him, as he planned to stay at the shop and make soba until the world ends.

Appearance[]

He appears to be an older man with messy dark brown hair, noticeable wrinkles, a thick anchor beard, and thick eyebrows. He is typically shown wearing a green and yellow headband, an orange vest with a black shirt underneath, blue-grey pants, green socks and red plastic clogs, along with silver earring in both ears, a necklace and bracelet. He also wears red, square plastic eyeglass frames with tinted lenses.
